Welcome to Direct English Online UNIT 13

In Unit 13, the Conversation section consists of a video and dialogs which present and develop the video drama storyline. The purpose of the dialogs is to introduce the new language forms you will be learning and enable you to experience real English in real situations and explanations of any new language items are provided in easily recognisable drop down boxes.

You will find that a systematic and methodical approach to your study will maximize your ability to understand and utilize the new language.

The Language Study and Practice section gives you the opportunity to practice the language from the Conversation or Presentation section in new contexts. Clear instructions and guides are given to help explain what to do and Language Notes give you detailed information about grammar and usage.

Always follow the lessons and exercises in order.

Good luck and have fun!
